Materflow strengthens its collaboration with Farsoon with a new equipment investment
Materflow has expanded its 3D printing capacity by acquiring a new compact Farsoon printer, part-financed through the European Union Structural Funds. The investment also broadens Materflow’s internationalisation opportunities in the printing of high-performance polymers.
“Our collaboration with Farsoon is deepening, and we now have two different printers at our disposal,” says Sami Mattila from Materflow.
“For our customers, this means faster response times — for example in prototype production — as well as greater overall agility and shorter lead times,” Mattila explains.
The new Farsoon HT252 machine is capable of processing a range of polymers. A maximum chamber temperature of 220 degrees Celsius enables the production of materials such as PA6 and comparable grades that are more commonly used in conventional manufacturing.
Materflow will continue and deepen its international collaboration with the equipment manufacturer, including in the area of materials research.
The part-financed investment through the European Union Structural Funds also supports Materflow’s growth and competitiveness in international markets. The Structural Funds aim to promote regional development and companies’ capacity for innovation. Through this investment, Materflow is better positioned than ever to meet customer needs and leverage the latest 3D printing technology — particularly in the use of high-performance materials.
